In 2020, when CryoDry® was founded, we decided to do something about global food waste and declining population health:

We knew freeze drying can preserve life‑saving medicines, and it is able to help families reduce food waste, improve their health and save them money.

So, we formulated a simple mission:

“Make professional grade freeze‑drying technology accessible to households, everywhere in the world.”

Our team came together with many years of experience in food and pharmaceutical freeze‑drying, where precision, safety and reliability are non‑negotiable. We used clever design to reduce cost – without compromising on safety, quality and performance.

 

Food Waste is a Real Problem

Around the world, 1.3 billion tons of food is wasted every year, enough to feed millions of people. Food waste accounts for 8-10% of global greenhouse gas emissions. For us, these statistics are not just numbers, it was a wake‑up call. We see food loss happening everywhere – on farms, in supply chains, in supermarkets, in catering and in homes. We knew we could help.

CryoDry® was created to give people back control over:
