The CryoDry® CD8 benchtop freeze dryer is a versatile and user-friendly food freeze dryer, that is certified food safe and extremely easy to use.
It allows fully automated drying, programming for specific tasks, such as candy, and it even allows for fully manual operation. Automatic operation is perfect for beginners or all users who do not want to bother with programming. For those with more experience or specific needs the programming option caters for specialty requirements such as candy, ice cream and other more challenging tasks. Manual operation is needed for those users who like to vacuum seal their mason jars in the CD8. Manual operation also allows manually supervised drying tasks.
With an impressive 8 kg ice capacity, the CD8 can process large batches of product in a single cycle. Capable of removing up to 4 kg of ice from the product per 24 hours, the CD8 is an ideal choice for high-volume applications. The CD8 comes with 5 electrically heated shelves in our unique Sandwich Shelf Stack Design, which provides premium temperature control accuracy and even heat distribution to ensure uniform drying of the product whilst also negating the need for potentially harmful heater adhesives.
The CD8 benchtop freeze dryer also includes 5 aluminium trays, which are durable and easy to clean. These trays can accommodate a variety of sample types and sizes, making the CD8 a versatile and flexible freeze-drying solution.
